Further speakers are announced for VRA’s 2023 Outlook Annual Seminar

Speakers from Sogo, Assurant and Fleetcor have been added to next month’s Vehicle Remarketing Association’s (VRA) Annual Seminar.

Taking place on Tuesday 22nd November at The Slate, Warwick University, it has the theme of “2023: The Year Ahead in Remarketing” and will examine new and current issues affecting the sector.

The new additions are included in a session called Future Trends in Automotive. They are Karl Howkins, managing director, Sogo, on new thinking in funding and mobility; Damian Tyler, business development and commercial director, Assurant on warranties for electric vehicles; Euan McTurk, consultant battery electrochemist, Plug Life Consulting on the real story behind EV battery degradation; and Matthew Waller, director of connected car, FLEETCOR on the impact of connected vehicle technology in the remarketing sector.

Philip Nothard, chair at the VRA, said: “We’ve had a superb reaction to the seminar so far with more than 100 delegates registering. There are only 150 places, so we would urge anyone who wants to come along to ensure they get their ticket now.

“The new speakers we have added are part of an exciting session that deals with the breaking technologies affecting the remarketing sector and should prove to be one of the highlights of the event.”

The first sponsors for the VRA Seminar have also been announced in the shape of Sogo, One Auto API, and DMN Logistics.

Philip added: “Events of this kind, especially free events, are impossible to hold without the support of sponsors, so we would like to say thank you to everyone who is contributing here. Other sponsor opportunities are also available.”

The VRA Seminar open to anyone who works within the motor industry and has an interest in remarketing. Registration is available at https://bit.ly/3CZGvBR.
