MG named as headline sponsor for VRA Annual Seminar as registrations hit 150 mark

MG Motor UK has been named as the headline sponsor for the Vehicle Remarketing Association’s (VRA) Annual Seminar as the number of registrations hits the 150 delegate mark.

Philip Nothard, chair at the VRA, said that the reception to “2023: The Year Ahead in Remarketing” had been excellent and that it was expected it would reach its 180 person capacity within a matter of days.

“This is the first of our annual seminars that we’ve been able to hold since the start of the pandemic and there is a real buzz around the event. We’ve now finalised our line-up of more than a dozen speakers and have also filled most of the sponsor slots.

“We’ve always felt it important that this showcase event for the VRA is free to attend and sponsors such as MG, SOGO, One Auto API, Geldards, and DMN Logistics, make it possible for us to do this.

“Clearly, there are not many places left and we urge anyone who would like to attend to register as soon as possible.”

Geraint Isaac, head of fleet sales at MG, added: “We’re really pleased to be able to support this event. Forming strong relationships with the remarketing sector is an important element of the future of MG in the UK.

“The industry guides are predicting strong residual values for our new MG4 electric hatchback, which we’ll be showing at the VRA Seminar. We believe this is our strongest model so far with huge potential.”

The VRA seminar takes place on Tuesday 22 November at The Slate, Warwick University, and will examine new and current issues affecting the sector. It is open to anyone who works within the motor industry and has an interest in remarketing.
