Philip Nothard, chair at the VRA, said that the industry body was continuing to expand, now numbering more than 60 businesses, and had recently created a key strategic partnership with CARA, the Car Remarketing Association of Europe.

“These three new appointments have been partially made to replace board directors who have stood down and also to help handle the extra workload that is being created by the growth of our organisation.

“We’d like to thanks to Derren Martin and Jayson Whittington for their contributions to the board over several years and are very pleased to see that both will remain involved in the VRA as members.

“It’s also a pleasure to welcome Keron, Chris and Melissa as directors. They bring huge experience and expertise, and we are sure that they will play a significant part in our activities.

“As with any organisation of our kind, we rely very much on the time, effort and resources of our board directors, and we are always very grateful for the contributions they make. Without them, there would be no VRA.”
