VRA announces 2021 Outlook Series webinars

A series of webinars called the 2021 Outlook Series has been announced by the Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA) that are open to anyone who works in the motor industry.
Beginning on October 15, there will be six 30 minute sessions every other week designed to provide an expert summary of next year’s prospects in key areas of remarketing.
They start with Possible Coronavirus Scenarios in 2021 with Steve Freeman, head of Automotive at MHA Consulting, looking at how different potential pathways for the pandemic could affect businesses.
Future subjects include The New and Used Car Market in 2021 on November 5, Vehicle Retailing in 2021 on November 19, The Impact of Brexit on the Automotive Industry and The Economic Outlook for 2021 on December 3, and 2021 and Remarketing Infrastructure on December 17. Speakers will be confirmed within the next few days.
VRA chair Sam Watkins said: “Every November, we hold our annual VRA Seminar, which is a very popular industry event at which a wide-ranging group of speakers look at the year ahead. Last year, it attracted around 200 delegates.
“Despite the pandemic, we wanted to try and create something similar but are also mindful that there is a degree of webinar fatigue underway. Over the last few months, most of us have spent a lot of time on Zoom.
“The format we have created is designed to pack the maximum amount of information into the minimum time commitment. Anyone who attends all six 30 minute seminars will be comprehensively briefed about remarketing in the next year.
“One of the good things about our usual annual seminar is that it is open to anyone who works in the motor industry and we have decided to continue this offer into the 2021 Outlook Series. It is not just for VRA members.”
The VRA represents companies involved in all aspects of remarketing used cars which between them handle, sell, inspect, transport or manage more than 1.5 million used vehicles every year.
Those who wish to register to attend the 2021 Outlook Seminars should e-mail info@thevra.co.uk.
